I am building a body of work and I can't help but think of these colors and strokes as sort of a metaphor for human connection, how we think about environment, and nature. We are all connected in one way or another. I had one person comment that they look like agate and I have to agree. These paintings  feel so comfortable for me to create, my mind has been on so much lately especially regarding our world and current events. Perhaps it's meditative as art always is, I just really really enjoy making paintings and trying things differently from time to time. It's good practice not to mention that one of my art heroes is Georgia O'Keeffe. I really just hope to communicate beauty, life, and love.
