I really enjoy using turquoise. There's just something about it that makes me feel at home when making artwork. This painting was supposed to be orange, isn't that funny? Anyhow, this one is much prettier in person of course, I love the contrast and the play of light throughout the painting. I dreamed this one up last week and finished it this week. It's got about 3 layers of paint on it. I also like this size, it's not huge but big enough to catch your eye or fill a prominent space at home.
