Yes, time to take a little break from the landscapes and do something a little different. I've been making some birds and plan on making more, you may just be surprised to find some other kind of wildlife in the future. It's been fun and necessary to make new and different paintings. I have needed this kind of a shake up for a while, it's giving me new energy and making me fall in love with oil paint all over again!
